Welcome to Grow Floral Co. We are an environmentally conscious small business offering locally grown seasonal flowers for weddings, events, and more throughout Peterborough and the Kawartha Lakes Ontario. Our intentional approach to floral design is to create in harmony with nature by focusing on flowers that are seasonally available and only using environmentally responsible products. We source blooms from our own gardens as well as from other flower farmers within Ontario. By bringing attention to seasonal ingredients (think freshly cut lilac in spring!) our designs will make you feel a sense of connection to your natural surroundings, and leave a lasting impression for you to cherish forever.

With minimal reliance on imported blooms, floral foam, bleached or dyed flowers, our events are set up to be low waste and environmentally responsible.

I'm Emily!
I’m a student of horticulture, a floral designer and a mom of (soon to be) two. I operate out of my home-based studio here in the Kawartha Lakes where I grow flowers on my property as well as at a nearby farm (Merkaba Acres) located in Bobcaygeon Ontario. Gardening and getting my hands dirty is where my deep passion for flowers all began. Tending to my flower garden and exploring floral design is the perfect combination of creative outlets for me and is the driving force behind what Grow Floral Co. is all about! I am constantly amazed how each new season brings fresh inspiration, allowing me to learn and dive deeper into the two worlds of gardening and floral design. With this philosophy in mind I believe that it translates into some truly original and memorable floral creations. I'm excited to collaborate with anyone who shares the same values of celebrating the beauty of the natural world while using sustainable design practices to create individualized garden-inspired, florals for any special occasion.
